About Me
My name is Jennifer Clawson. I am a Registered Yoga Teacher (Yoga Alliance Certified RYT) who has been teaching yoga for more than five years. 
Like many, I was first attracted to yoga because of its physical benefits. Although I began practicing to relieve the pain and fatigue of fibromyalgia, I grew to appreciate yoga’s mental and spiritual benefits. Although my body has become stronger through yoga, I am most grateful for the transformation of my mind and spirit.
I draw inspiration from different styles and teachers of yoga. My training has exposed me to Kripalu, Iyengar, restorative, vinyasa, Bikram, Kundalini and Ashtanga yoga.
My teaching style blends an emphasis on correct alignment, along with a free-flowing yoga practice. My classes are moderately-paced and geared toward students of all levels. Above all, I emphasize honoring your body by modifying poses when necessary. I encourage students to accept their physical limitations and to lovingly embrace themselves, just as they are. I truly believe that everyone can do yoga.
I enjoy teaching people to “just be” in a culture that would have us constantly “doing”. I believe fervently in yoga’s power to renew one’s life, and I seek to share this lesson with everyone I encounter.
